Dr. Frank Elsweier is an Assistant Professor in Tax Economics at Tilburg University's Department of Tax Economics within the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM). He serves as Academic Director for the Bachelor and Master programs in Tax Economics. His expertise spans Dutch and international business tax advisory, particularly focusing on Netherlands-German tax relations. Elsweier also works as a Business Tax Advisor at EY and contributes to tax knowledge management through Bureau Vaktechniek. He completed his PhD in 2018, examining lessons for the Netherlands' corporate tax system from Germany. He regularly publishes on corporate tax, fiscal developments, and cross-border taxation in journals like Weekblad voor Fiscaal Recht, and co-authored the textbook Hoofdzaken Vennootschapsbelasting.
