Franco Ruzzenenti is an Assistant Professor (tenure track) at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Engineering and the Integrated Research on Energy, Environment & Society (IREES). He holds additional roles as Programme Director of the MSc 'Energy & Environmental Sciences' and Director of Education at the Energy & Sustainability Institute Groningen (ESRIG). His research focuses on complex systems, network theory, and energy sustainability, with particular emphasis on topics like energy efficiency, rebound effects, and carbon implications of global systems.
