Franck Perez

Franck Perez is a CNRS Research Director and Scientific Director of the Cell Biology and Cancer unit (UMR144) at the Institut Curie in Paris. He leads the Intracellular Transport: Engineering and Mechanisms team and co-founded the CurieCoreTech platform for recombinant antibodies.

His team develops innovative tools like the RUSH trafficking assay, automated cell screening platforms (BioPhenics), and recombinant antibody libraries for translational applications in therapeutic development.

Scientific Contributions:

• Author of over 100 articles and 10 patents
• Co-founder of three biotechnology startups, including Honing Biosciences (cell therapy) and Emglev Therapeutics (acquired by Valerio Therapeutics)
• Developer of CATCHFIRE, a fluorogenic tool for cellular monitoring
