Francisca Salvá Mut

Francisca Salvá Mut is a full Professor in the Department of Applied Pedagogy and Educational Psychology at the University of the Balearic Islands. She leads the Laboratory for Research and Innovation in Vocational Training (LABVET) and has served in key academic roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Education (2000-03) and Vice-Rector for External Relations (2003-07).

• Research Focus: Early school leaving, vocational training, gender equality, and educational psychology.
• Current Projects: Leading a national R&D&I project on dual vocational training pathways (2024-2028) and a feminist research grant on gender segregation in vocational studies (2024-25).

Her recent publications analyze student retention in vocational training, gender policy frameworks, and regional transitions to adulthood. She teaches courses on coeducation, gender equality, and final degree projects across undergraduate and master's programs in pedagogy and social education.
