Francis Mitrou is a Senior Principal Research Fellow and Program Head of Population Health at The Kids Research Institute Australia, affiliated with the UWA Medical School. An economist by training, he specializes in survey development, linked administrative data, and Indigenous human development, focusing on vulnerable children and families.
