Francis Fortin is an Associate Professor at the School of Criminology, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Université de Montréal, and an Associate Researcher at the Centre International de Criminologie Comparée (CICC). His research focuses on cybercrime, child exploitation, data mining, and criminal careers. He has held roles in law enforcement, including at the Sûreté du Québec. Dr. Fortin has been recognized with the 2019 Excellence in Teaching Award from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
