Francesco Rinaldi

Francesco Rinaldi is a Professor at the Department of Mathematics "Tullio Levi-Civita" at the University of Padova. He coordinates the Data Science Master's Programme and is a member of the Padova Neuroscience Center.

• M.S. in Computer Engineering, Sapienza University of Rome (2005)
• Ph.D. in Operations Research, Sapienza University of Rome (2009)

Research Interests: Optimization for big data, network science, and machine learning applications in medicine and biology. His work bridges computational methods with translational neuroscience, leveraging Padova's multimodal neuroimaging facilities.

• Recipient of ARISLA 2021 grant for neurodegenerative disease research
• Active in international conference organization and as invited speaker (40+ engagements)
