معرفی
Dr Francesco Boselli is an Assistant Professor at Durham University, holding a dual appointment in the Department of Biosciences and the Department of Engineering. His research focuses on fluid-cell interactions in development and disease, combining mathematical modeling, live imaging, and experimental systems. He obtained his PhD from ETH Zurich, followed by postdoctoral training at IGBMC (France) and the University of Cambridge (UK).
- Education:
- PhD in Fluid Dynamics, ETH Zurich
- Postdoc, IGBMC (Strasbourg, France)
- Postdoc, Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, University of Cambridge
Research interests include cilia mechanics, embryonic heart development, inner ear physiology, and mechanotransduction. His work integrates computational modeling with experimental approaches like live imaging. Recent contributions include studies on biomimetic nanophages involving gold nanoparticles and viral self-assembly.
