Francesco Andreottola

Francesco Andreottola is a Researcher at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) since 2001, currently affiliated with ISMed-CNR since 2019. He holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (2012) and a PhD in Business Economics (2000), along with a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Naples 'Federico II'. His research focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation systems, knowledge transfer, and socioeconomic impacts, particularly in the context of research valorization, spin-offs, and social enterprises.

He has led research projects such as ESG, Sustainability and Innovation of Business Models in Healthcare Companies, and previously directed initiatives like Innovation Systems, Competitiveness and Knowledge Transfer (Innosystems). From 1994 to 2001, he taught Business Economics at the University of Naples 'Parthenope', advancing to a contract professor role by 1998. Professionally, he is a qualified auditor and chartered accountant, advising businesses and auditing institutions.

Andreottola collaborates with the MIUR on technical evaluations for research projects and contributes to international scientific publications. His work bridges academic research with practical applications in innovation and policy, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to economic and social challenges.
