Francesca Tugores Truyol

Dr. Francesca Tugores Truyol serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Art History within the Faculty of Historical Sciences and Theory of the Arts at the University of the Balearic Islands. Her teaching portfolio includes Museology and Museography for the Degree in Art History (2024-25 and 2025-26), Architectural Prospecting and Seminars on Heritage for the Master's Degree in Cultural Heritage: Research and Management (2021-22 to 2023-24), and Concepts of Cultural Heritage for undergraduate studies (2020-21).

Her research centers on Art History and Cultural Heritage with specialized focus on museology, medieval architectural heritage, and heritage management systems. As an active member of the Medieval Studies Research Group (GRESMED), she contributes to interdisciplinary projects examining historical structures and cultural conservation methodologies within Mediterranean contexts.
