Francesca Schir serves as a Researcher at the Faculty of Education, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, holding a fixed-term contract. She teaches core courses including General Pedagogy with an Emphasis on the Age Range 5-12 (Lab.) for the 5-year Master's Degree in Primary Education (German section) and Social Pedagogy for the University course in secondary school teacher training for Italian language instruction.
Her research spans foundational educational disciplines with emphasis on developmental pedagogy for early childhood through pre-adolescence, social integration frameworks in educational settings, and evidence-based methodologies for primary teacher preparation. These interests directly inform her curriculum design for both degree programs.
