Francesca Salvati

Francesca Salvati serves as Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Essex and Research Associate at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. Previously a Research Fellow at the Bank of Italy, she recently completed a visiting research appointment at CESifo (October 2024) focusing on health-retirement dynamics.

Her academic foundation includes a PhD in Economics from University College London (2021). Research expertise spans:
