Francesca Bovolo holds a PhD in Communication and Information Technologies from the University of Trento, where she previously served as a teaching assistant and thesis supervisor in Telecommunication Engineering. Currently affiliated with the Remote Sensing Laboratory at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, she specializes in remote sensing image processing and change detection across multispectral and SAR imaging systems.
