Frances Ramos is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of South Florida, specializing in early modern Mexico and the Spanish Atlantic. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin (2005) and teaches courses on colonial Latin America, political transformations, and primary source analysis.
