Fran L. Tetunic is a Professor of Law and Director of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Clinic at Nova Southeastern University College of Law. She teaches courses including ADR Clinic, Mediation Workshop, and Elder Law. Her work focuses on mediation ethics, dispute resolution systems, and elder law, with a strong emphasis on public service through her Juvenile Mediation Program.

Research Interests: Her practice and scholarship bridge mediation, elder law, and family law. She has mediated over 2,000 cases, including employment discrimination cases for federal agencies, and contributes to Florida’s ADR policy development. Her work addresses systemic issues in juvenile justice and elder care.
Professional Contributions: Tetunic served on the Florida Supreme Court’s Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee (2002–2010) and currently sits on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Rules and Policy Committee. She is certified in circuit civil, family, and county mediation and trains mediators on ethics and certification standards.
Leadership: Active in the Florida Bar, she chaired the Public Interest Law Section and currently serves as its Treasurer. She also speaks internationally on mediation and has authored publications on mediation ethics and case law.
