Prof. François Racine is a Professor of Urban Planning and Urban Design at the Department of Urban and Tourism Studies, Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) since 2014. Previously, he taught Urban Morphology and Architectural Design at the Faculty of Planning, Université de Montréal (1993–2014). His expertise focuses on the formation and transformation of built environments, particularly the impact of urban design on heritage structures. He co-created the development vision for Place Gérald-Godin in Montreal's Plateau-Mont-Royal borough (2014).
