Professor Forough Ansari serves as full-time faculty in the Computer Science department at Georgia State University's Perimeter College, where she has taught since 2018. She currently holds the position of Curriculum Committee Chair for Computer Science and founded the Women in Technology (WIT) club as its faculty advisor.

- M.S. in Computer and Information Technology, Purdue University
Research Interests
Her primary research focuses on network controllability within complex systems and practical applications of Big Data analytics and Cloud Computing infrastructure. She actively contributes to Computer Science Education research through NSF-funded POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) initiatives, developing team-based instructional activities that enhance student comprehension of core concepts while building critical collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Advising and Grants
Professor Ansari advises the Women in Technology club to support female students in computing fields and participates in NSF grant-funded research examining evidence-based pedagogical approaches in computer science education.

She leads the WIT club to foster inclusive technology communities and collaborates with the POGIL research team on designing classroom activities that promote active learning through structured group work and concept-guided discovery.
