Floske Spieksma is an Associate Professor at the Mathematical Institute (Probability Theory) of Leiden University, where she has worked since 1985 in various roles including PhD researcher, Postdoc, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor. Her research focuses on Stochastic Processes, Markov Decision Processes, and Operations Research, particularly in Queueing Theory and Network Optimization. She has supervised multiple PhD students including Herman Blok and Laurens Smit and co-organized international workshops.
