Prof. Dr. Florian Steinke is a Professor and Head of the Energy Information Networks and Systems Department at Technische Universität Darmstadt. His academic career spans roles at Siemens Corporate Technology (2009–2016) and a PhD in machine learning at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems (2006–2008). His research focuses on algorithmic energy management, distributed control systems, machine learning applications in energy grids, and resilient smart grid design.
