Florian Poydenot

Dr. Florian Poydenot is a Research Fellow at the University of Hamburg, affiliated with the Meteorological Institute (MIN) and the Department of Earth System Sciences. He is part of the 'Clouds and Convection' research group, focusing on numerical modeling, atmospheric dynamics, and climate-related processes. His work is supported by an ERC Starting Grant (ROTOЯ).

Research Interests: Florian’s research centers on clouds, convection mechanisms, and mesoscale/microscale modeling. He explores atmospheric turbulence, numerical weather prediction, and climate interactions, leveraging advanced computational techniques to enhance understanding of atmospheric processes.
