Florian Lindemann

Florian Lindemann is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), affiliated with the Mathematical Optimization research group. He holds a PhD in Theoretical and Numerical Aspects of Shape Optimization with Navier-Stokes Flows (2012). His research focuses on optimization, numerical analysis, and fluid dynamics, with contributions to PDE-constrained optimization and computational methods for fluid flow problems.

Education: Completed his doctoral studies in 2012 under the supervision of Michael Ulbrich and Stefan Ulbrich. His work bridges theoretical mathematics and applied computational techniques, particularly in fluid dynamics.
