Prof. Dr. Florian Kraus leads the Inorganic Chemistry - Fluorine Chemistry research group at Philipps-Universität Marburg. His team develops novel transition metal and rare earth fluorides using elemental fluorine and advanced synthesis techniques.
Research explores structural, optical, and magnetic properties of inorganic fluorides, with applications in ferroelectric materials and optoelectronics. Current projects include the Visuenergy initiative for digital laboratory training enhancement.
