Florian Heeb

Prof. Florian Heeb holds the LIF-SAFE Professorship of Sustainable Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt, based at the House of Finance. He is affiliated with the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE e.V. and serves as Chair of Sustainable Finance within the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. His work focuses on sustainable finance frameworks, corporate sustainability strategies, and financial market implications of environmental policies.

Research interests include integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into financial decision-making, climate risk quantification, and the role of financial institutions in achieving net-zero transitions. He advises on policy initiatives related to green finance and sustainable investment practices.

Prof. Heeb's academic activities are centered at Theodor-W.-Adorno-Platz 3, Frankfurt/Main, with postal operations managed through SAFE's administrative office. His team coordinates interdisciplinary research projects linking finance, sustainability science, and public policy.
