Florian Droese

Dr. Florian Droese is a Research Associate at the University of Münster, affiliated with the School of Business and Economics and the Institute for Management Accounting and Control. He previously served as a doctoral student (since April 2019) under the Chair of Controlling and Management Performance led by Prof. Artz. His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management (Jade University of Applied Sciences), a Master of Science in Business Administration (Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg), and a semester abroad at Nord University, Norway.

Dr. Droese's professional experience spans roles in sales, pricing, consulting, and tutoring. Notably, he received the Outstanding Reviewer Award from the American Accounting Association in January 2022. His research focuses on Management Accounting, Controlling, and Performance Management, with additional expertise in corporate finance and pricing strategies. While currently not listed as an adjunct or tenured faculty, his contributions to academic research and institutional activities are evident through his involvement with the Institute's programs and events.
