Florence van Zeben

Florence van Zeben is a full-time Professor and Chair of Transnational Law at the Florence School of Transnational Governance. She also serves as Provost for Education and Academic Staff Development, focusing on academic leadership and governance.

Her research spans Environmental Law, European Union Law, and Sustainable Development, with a particular emphasis on regulatory frameworks, climate policy, and corporate human rights obligations. Recent work explores the European Green Deal, PFAS toxicity regulation, and alignment mechanisms for environmental governance.

Florence contributes to multidisciplinary initiatives like the Energy Law Research School and participates in the FSR Climate Annual Conference, addressing topics such as biodiversity, carbon pricing, and public acceptance of climate policies.
