معرفی
Flore Zélé is a Research Fellow at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and a core member of the Experimental Community Evolution Team at the Institute of Evolutionary Sciences of Montpellier (ISEM). ISEM is a joint research unit affiliated with the University of Montpellier, CNRS, IRD, EPHE, CIRAD, and INRAP, dedicated to studying biodiversity origins and evolutionary dynamics.
Her research centers on evolutionary ecology, specifically:
- Host-symbiont interactions, including adaptation to symbiont-induced reproductive manipulations
- Impacts of symbionts on reproductive interference between host species and their role in speciation
- Eco-evolutionary feedbacks from reproductive/competitive interactions that shape reproductive barriers and species coexistence
She employs experimental evolution approaches, with keywords including Host-symbiont interactions, Reproductive interference, Speciation, Coexistence, and Experimental evolution.
Dr. Zélé leads the Experimental Community Evolution Team, focusing on empirical studies of community-level evolutionary processes.
