Dr. Flavio Azevedo is an Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary Social Science at Utrecht University. His research examines political psychology, ideology, and open science practices, with methodological expertise in meta-analysis and large-scale collaborations.
Research focuses on:
- Psychological roots of political behavior
- Ideological asymmetries and social inequality
- Reproducibility and open scholarship
- Conspiracy belief motivations
Publications frequently employ meta-analytic and collaborative approaches, with recurring themes in scientific reform, political cognition, and methodology. Recent work includes large-team projects on COVID-19 psychology across 69 countries and authorship ethics in collaborative science.
