Dr. Flavia Rodricks is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Aston Business School, part of the College of Business and Social Sciences at Aston University. She joined in January 2024, bringing 12 years of teaching experience in accounting from Hong Kong and prior industry experience as a Senior Manager at Deloitte. Her research focuses on Sustainability Reporting and Assurance, including materiality, stakeholder inclusiveness, and the role of technology in reporting practices. She also explores auditing, fraud, and earnings management.
- Education: DBA in Sustainability and Environmental Reporting Assurance (Aston Business School, 2018–2023)
Her expertise spans teaching Auditing, Cost Accounting, Ethics, and International Business. She is affiliated with the Fraud Research Group and holds memberships in CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Dr. Rodricks is currently accepting PhD students and actively engages in research on ESG reporting challenges in emerging economies.
