Flaminia L. Luccio is an Associate Professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics (Università Ca' Foscari Venezia). She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Milan (1999), an M.C.S. from Carleton University (1995), and a Laurea in Computer Science from the University of Pisa (1993). Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Trieste (1998–2006). Her research focuses on cybersecurity, distributed systems, and embedded systems security, particularly in IoT and Industry 4.0 contexts. She co-founded 10Sec S.r.L., a cybersecurity startup, and leads projects like AMADEUS (Distributed Security Devices Modeling) and SCAI (Supply Chain Attack Mitigation).
She actively participates in international conferences, serving as Program Committee member, Co-chair, and Session Chair for events like ICISSP, GRIVAPP, and SAM. She coordinates Erasmus+ programs with Masaryk University and TU Wien. Her teaching responsibilities include advising thesis students in Computer Science and Economics, overseeing study plans, and maintaining academic governance roles in her department.
