Professor Fiona Stafford is a Professor of English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford and Tutorial Fellow at Somerville College. Her research focuses on Romantic-period literature, environmental writing, and the intersections of literature with place, nature, and visual arts. She has authored influential books like The Long, Long Life of Trees and edited key texts including Emma for Penguin Classics.
