Dr Fiona Kenyon serves as an Affiliate PhD Supervisor at the School of Biodiversity, One Health & Veterinary Medicine, University of Glasgow, with her primary base at the Moredun Research Institute in Penicuik (Disease Control, EH26 0PZ).
Her research centers on parasitology and sustainable livestock systems, specifically investigating regenerative pasture management strategies for parasite control and livestock productivity, alongside evolutionary dynamics of anthelmintic resistance under varied treatment regimens. Her work bridges veterinary science, agricultural ecology, and antimicrobial resistance mitigation within the One Health framework.
Dr Kenyon currently supervises two doctoral candidates: Kayleigh Devine (examining regenerative grazing impacts on parasite control) and Benedict Eboya Karani (quantifying treatment regimen effects on anthelmintic resistance evolution).
