Professor Fiona Gaughran is a Professor of Physical Health and Clinical Therapeutics in Psychiatry at King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) and Director of Research and Development at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. She also chairs the Board of the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre. Her clinical role involves implementing evidence-based approaches for treatment-resistant psychotic illnesses and improving physical health outcomes for individuals with severe mental illnesses. She has over 200 publications, including co-editing the Maudsley Practice Guidelines for Physical Health Conditions in Psychiatry.
