Finn Enke is Professor of History and Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they also direct the LGBTQ+ Studies Certificate Program. Their research centers on 20th-century sexuality and gender history, particularly transgender and feminist social movements, with additional focus on queer crip studies, critical race theory, and Indigenous studies.
Enke's publications include the books Finding the Movement (2007), which analyzes feminist spatial activism, and Transfeminist Perspectives (2012), an edited volume advancing transgender studies.
