Filippos Papakonstantinou is a Reader (equivalent to Associate Professor) in Finance at King’s Business School, King’s College London, specializing in Behavioral Economics and Finance. His research focuses on household finance, asset management, Bayesian econometrics, and mutual fund performance analysis.
Education: BA in Economics from Harvard University (2002), MA and PhD in Economics from Princeton University (2004/2008). Prior roles include Assistant Professor at Imperial College Business School and teaching positions at Harvard, Princeton, and Queen Mary University of London.
Research interests include behavioral finance mechanisms, investor decision-making, and ESG investing. His work has been published in top journals like the Journal of Finance and Review of Financial Studies. Notable contributions address false discoveries in mutual fund performance, history-dependent risk preferences, and greenwashing in ESG investments.
