Filipe Mello Rose is a Researcher and Research Associate at HafenCity University Hamburg, affiliated with the Department of Urban Planning. He is part of the German Research Foundation-funded project 'Smart Cities: The Standardization of Cities?' (2018-2021), led by Prof. Dr. Gernot Grabher and Dr. Joachim Thiel. His work focuses on smart city governance, civil society engagement, urban planning, and digital geography.

- Bachelor's in Social and Political Sciences (2011-2014), Franco-German Campus of Sciences Po in Nancy.
