Filip De Turck is a Professor at Ghent University's Department of Information Technology, leading the network and service management team. With a PhD in Engineering (2002) and a visiting postdoc at Columbia University (2003), his research focuses on resilient softwarized networks, anomaly detection, and adaptive large-scale data processing. He has supervised 38 PhD students and currently mentors 8, with an h-index of 40 and over 8952 citations.
