Assist. Prof. Dr. Feyza Şule Hantal is an academic at Yeditepe University's Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. She holds a PhD in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from Istanbul University, with a thesis on soft tissue mobilization in shoulder impingement syndrome. She has also completed a Master's and undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. Her research focuses on manual therapy techniques, musculoskeletal disorders, balance and proprioception, and rehabilitation technologies. She has authored/co-authored multiple books, including contributions to Digitalization and Rehabilitation in Health and Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyonda Yenilikler.
Her academic career includes supervising over 30 theses at the Master's and PhD levels. Notable projects include the Erasmus+ funded 'Job Coaching Training: Place, Train, Maintain.' She teaches courses such as Manipulative Therapy and Orthopedic Rehabilitation. She is a member of the Turkish Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Association and the Sports Physiotherapists Association. Administrative roles include serving as Department Deputy Head.
Her research output spans peer-reviewed articles in journals like Advances in Integrative Medicine and Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, focusing on manual therapy efficacy, balance assessment, and technological innovations in rehabilitation. Her work bridges clinical practice with biomechanical analysis, emphasizing patient-centered outcomes.
