Fernando Redondo Neira is a Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), affiliated with the Department of Communication Sciences and the Faculty of Communication Sciences. He holds a doctorate from USC (2001) with a thesis on Carlos Velo’s documentary work during the Second Spanish Republic. His research focuses on audiovisual communication, film history, and Galician cinema. He serves as President of the Xosé Neira Vilas Foundation (since 2019) and is a member of the Spanish Association of Film Historians and the Galician Association of Communication Researchers.
