Fernando Pestana da Costa

Fernando Pestana da Costa is a Full Professor at the Open University, affiliated with the Department of Science and Technology and the Mathematics Section. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University (1993), a Master in Applied Mathematics from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST, 1989), and a degree in Chemical Engineering (1985). His academic roles include President of the Teaching Performance Evaluation Council, Member of the General Council, and Ethics Committee member at the Open University. He is also a member of the Center for Mathematical Analysis, Geometry and Dynamical Systems at IST, University of Lisbon.
