Fernando David Modrego Arceo

Fernando David Modrego Arceo is a Predoctoral Researcher (RF4. P2.01) at the Technological Research Institute (IIT) of the ICAI School of Engineering, Comillas Pontifical University, since March 24, 2025. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Zaragoza (2024) and is pursuing a Master's in Deep Learning for Audio Signal Processing at the Autonomous University of Madrid, to be completed in July 2025.

His research focuses on applying artificial intelligence and optimization techniques to real-world challenges, including the electrification of heavy transport and automatic parallelization of machine learning models for audio processing. At IIT, he develops tools for determining optimal charging point locations for heavy goods vehicles.
