Feng Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Mississippi, College of Engineering, specializing in computer networking, wireless sensor networks, and edge computing. He holds a PhD in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University (2012), and BEng and MEng degrees in Computer Science from Tsinghua University (2002, 2005). As an IEEE Senior Member, he has received multiple accolades, including the IEEE INFOCOM Distinguished TPC Member Award (2020) and ACM BuildSys Best Paper Award (2018).

- Internet of Things (IoT) and edge computing

- Crowdsourcing for smart cities
