Femi Olan is a Senior Lecturer at the Strategy, Operations and Entrepreneurship department within Essex Business School at the University of Essex. His academic work bridges the intersection of digital entrepreneurship, knowledge management, and artificial intelligence in organisational contexts.

Recent editorial roles include Cogent Business & Management Journal (2024) and guest editorships for special issues on fake news, sustainable agriculture supply chains, and crisis information management.
