Dr.-Ing. Felix Sohnius is a Professor at the Chair of Intelligence in Quality Sensing under the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University. He serves as Chief Engineer and is affiliated with the institution's engineering research initiatives.
His research interests focus on integrating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning into Quality Sensing and Production Engineering, with applications in Metrology, Non-Destructive Testing, and Industrial Metaverse technologies.
