Felix Plamper

Professor Felix Plamper is a distinguished academic at Freiberg University of Mining and Technology, where he serves as a W2 Professor in the Institute of Physical Chemistry within the Faculty of Chemistry, Physics and Biosciences. Since October 2018, he has led his research group (AG Plamper) focusing on advanced polymer systems, and since May 2023 has also served as Dean of Studies for Chemistry Studies at the university.

His research spans multiple cutting-edge areas in polymer science, with particular expertise in nonequilibrium polymer systems, microgels, electroactive polymers, and interfacial phenomena. Plamper's work combines experimental approaches with theoretical frameworks to develop innovative materials with applications in energy storage, drug delivery, and responsive systems.
