Felix Montag is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the New York University Stern School of Business and an Affiliate Fellow at the George J. Stigler Center for the Study of the Economy and the State at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His primary field is industrial organization, with intersections in international trade, labor economics, and public economics.
His research focuses on price transparency policies, tax pass-through mechanisms, and the employment effects of mergers. Notable works include studies on mandatory price disclosure in the German fuel market and the welfare trade-offs of mergers in the U.S. appliance industry.
