Felix Jose is an Associate Professor of Marine Science and Program Coordinator for the Undergraduate Marine Science program at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Physical Oceanography from Cochin University of Science & Technology, India, and has postdoctoral experience at institutions including the Nansen Centre (India), University of Azores (Portugal), and Louisiana State University (USA). His research focuses on coastal hydrodynamics, sediment transport, storm surge modeling, and climate change impacts on coastal ecosystems. He has collaborated internationally and been recognized with a Fulbright Specialist designation in coastal ocean modeling.
