معرفی
Felix Haase is a Researcher at the Chair of Cognitive Systems within the Faculty of Business Information Systems and Applied Computer Science at Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg. His roles include teaching exercises for 'Introduction to Artificial Intelligence' courses and leading the Bamberg division of the KLARO-KI project focused on making AI accessible. He also provides technical support for the BaCAI initiative. Haase completed both his Bachelor (2017-2021) and Master (2021-2024) degrees in Applied Computer Science at Bamberg.
His research explores Neurosymbolic AI integration, automated planning systems, and qualitative reasoning methodologies. This work bridges symbolic AI with neural approaches to enhance problem-solving in complex environments like physics-based games.
Publications consistently address qualitative reasoning applications in AI, particularly examining cognitive modeling challenges in game environments and human-level performance barriers. His 2021-2023 papers analyze AI problem-solving in the Angry Birds domain through qualitative spatial reasoning frameworks.
Active projects include:
- KLARO-KI: Project lead for Bamberg team developing accessible AI implementations
- BaCAI: Technical infrastructure and administrative support
He contributes to the Cognitive Systems research group and previously chaired the student organization Feki.de e.V. (2020-2022).
