Felix Chopra

Felix Chopra is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Economics at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He holds associated memberships with IZA and the CESifo Research Network. Prior to his current role, he was an assistant professor at the University of Copenhagen and completed his PhD at the Bonn Graduate School of Economics after studying mathematics and economics at the University of Bonn.

His research focuses on behavioral economics applications in household finance, industrial organization, and climate change economics, with a growing emphasis on artificial intelligence's role in economic analysis. Key contributions include studies on climate policy perceptions, intertemporal altruism, and media consumption behaviors. He has been awarded the CESifo Best Paper Award and IZA Climate Research Award for impactful work.

Chopra teaches advanced courses such as the 2023 PhD seminar on 'Subjective Beliefs, Attention and Economic Behavior.' His work bridges theoretical behavioral insights with practical policy implications, particularly in climate action and news media dynamics.
