Felipe Romero

C.F. (Felipe) Romero is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Groningen. His work focuses on philosophy of science, social epistemology, and philosophy of cognitive science, examining how social structures influence scientific outcomes. He holds a PhD from Washington University in St. Louis and degrees in Philosophy and Computer Science from the University of Los Andes. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Tilburg University.

His research explores topics such as replicability crises, scientific self-correction, and the ethical dimensions of academic labor. He has organized workshops on scientific error and contributed to high-impact publications in journals like Philosophy of Science and Annual Review of Psychology.
