Feliciana Fiscalini Tocchetto

Feliciana Fiscalini Tocchetto is a dedicated educator and researcher at the Department of Education and Learning at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) in Locarno. Born in Locarno on September 11, 1974, she has been teaching educational sciences to future primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary school teachers since 1999.

Her research focuses on learning difficulties, specific learning disorders, and teacher training, particularly for second language instruction. She has made significant contributions through her involvement in major research projects including DISPEA (examining reading fluency difficulties and specific learning disorders in Italian-speaking Switzerland) and the current DYSLANG European project focused on supporting multilingual students with learning difficulties.

Her publication record includes important work on educational assessment, particularly her 2002 research document evaluating framework programs for general culture teaching in vocational schools. This work examined how program content was transposed into examinations for apprentices completing their training.
